While fighting a gelatinous cube monster, Hayley and Jake accidentally switch bodies. Jake gets upset with Hayley for ,not telling him directly but still telling him, that he is not good enough. Jake goes onstage at Hayley's play because he is in her body. Hayley helps Jake by going on a date with Claudia (Jake's crush). When Jake, in Hayley's opinion, ruins her play, she goes to tell him to do better, which results in Claudia breaking up with Hayley in Jake's body. Felix fixes the cube in time for the last scene and changes them back. They discover they each had something to gain while being in the other's body and that perhaps the other did them a favor.

When a mousy classmate named Augustus suddenly gets status and power all at once, Hayley becomes very suspicious. Also, Felix's trust in Jake and Jake's instincts are put to the test. Hayley discovers his power and status are due to a Doulos, an extremely dangerous monster that can become invisible and serves the first human it finds as its master. The Doulos is implied to be a strong monster that has the rare ability of english speech and unbelievable power. So powerful, that it killed one of the troop members that trapped it. Note: It is implied at the end of the episode that the group may have gained an arch-enemy and a sequel

Morgan, Kirby's old rival joins The Troop from Tulsa and immediately challenges his chance of winning the science fair. She uses a small spark monster to power her butler robot that looks exactly like Kirby and turns evil and can't be defeated as Kirby defeats it when he traps in one of his inventions and captures the monster and she kisses Kirby. Meanwhile, Jake and Hayley compete to get Cadence's other ticket for a boy band concert, New Young Boys but give the tickets to Mr. Stockley as they think he has a sister who likes them but turns out he does like them.

Jake ,Hayley and Mr. Stockley get a distress call from another Troop team during driver's ed training. Jake and Hayley kiss while they are in the room hiding from the monster. Meanwhile Kirby runs for Green Czar and Cadence helps him win against Mazie. In the end of the episode, Hayley and Jake are sitting in the back of the car smiling when Mr. Stockley asks them how they got rid of the monster.
