Synopsis[]

Jake and Hayley discover that the hot Christmas toy, the "Ickie Doll", has been invaded by a Vapor Monster, turning the dolls into nasty, violent, living creatures.

Plot[]

The episode begins with the perspective of a Vapor Monster running through a corn field, then switches to Mr. Stockley driving with Linda McCarthy, her appreciating how much of a man she thinks Mr. Stockley is. Mr. Stockley says he wishes the date didn't have to end since she would probably have to spend Christmas with her family, but Linda tells Stockley she has no family left to spend Christmas with due to a deadly amount of bad luck, so Stockley ask Linda if would like to spend Christmas with him, and she agrees. Suddenly the Vapor Monster (possessing a scarecrow) runs in the middle of the road and Mr. Stockley sees it and accidentally runs into hit, causing it to explode. Mr. Stockley screams over and over and because of that Linda calls off the date and leaves the car and call a cab. The vapor monster leaves the scarecrow's body and latches itself onto ongoing truck of Ickie Dolls. Mr. Stockley now calmed down, tries to get Linda back, to no avail.

The next day, at the Collin's residence, Jake wakes up to see Phoebe with 2 presents in her hands. Phoebe tells Jake that she has 2 presents, one being "Amazing", and the other "Just Stinks", and says which one he will get will depend on what he gets her for Christmas, making it clear that she wants a Red Ickie Doll. Jake says he got her one, but she tells him they been sold out for weeks, and if he heads out for one now it would require a huge effort, much to Jake's dismay. Jake ask what the good present is and Phoebe says she spent months collecting special codes to get, and Jake immediately knows it's the Super GameStation 7, and Phoebe switches the conversation and tells Jake if he didn't get her an Ickie Doll, not only will he get the unreturnable bad gift, she will cry to their parents until they force Jake to wear it in public, and Jake immediately gets up and goes off.

At Troop HQ, Mr. Stockly is trying to figure out what he is trying to say to Linda and tries to call her, but her voicemail says "If you're a real man, leave your message at the tone. If you're a screaming MiMi, don't even bother".

Then both Jake and Hayley arrive at The Maxi Mart, Hayley trying to get her mom an Ickie doll since she likes collecting them, she tried to get one last week and they sold out in less than 10 minutes. Jake is baffled at that and questions what the Ickie dolls even do, and Hayley says it's all about the experience of owning and taking care of one. They find out the dolls are being sold straight from the truck for the safety of the employees, and they both head over there and find a bunch of customers wanting Ickie Dolls. The work Jim tries to get everyone to calm down, since the last time this happened, he lost his eye. Hayley and Jake make a pact, whoever gets to the front of the line first buys 2 Ickie Dolls for each other. Jake and Hayley run through the crowd trying to get to the Ickie dolls, but Hayley notices a strange green gooey substance on the truck and takes a sample of it. Jim announces they are out of Ickie dolls, much to the dismay of the customers. Hayley looks for Jake, and he pulls out a Red Ickie doll and ask where hers was, only to find out that Ickie doll was the last one. Jake says that he knew how much the Ickie doll meant to her, but instead of giving the doll to her, he just sarcastically tells Hayley that if she ever wants to talk about her feelings about not getting it, he will be there for her, and Jake playfully taunts her about it.

Back at Troop HQ, Hayley chastises Jake for keeping the doll for himself, saying it wasn't very Christmassy of him, but Jake just calls Hayley a Scrooge and says, "It's like your moms getting a visit from the ghost of you're an adult and wasting your life with stupid dolls". They then come across Felix's Christmas decorated side of the HQ, preparing himself for his "Felix Garica Christmas Spectacular" live webcast, he will be using an accordion for the show, and introduces a modified Guard Bot dressed as Santa. Jake asks who's guarding the monsters if he's using the Guard bot, and he says that The Gleegor is handling that, since if there was trouble it could emit a noxious smell. Jake leaves to wrap his Ickie Doll and Mr. Stockley arrives complimenting the Christmas decorated side of the HQ, Felix asks if he will watch the show but says he's trying to see if he can get a second date with Linda, and Felix says why to just watch it together, which he says yes to. Hayley then shows the gooey substance from the Ickie doll truck, and he says he'll put it through The Master Spectrometer. Sometime later, Mr. Stockley ask Hayley what do woman like better, chocolates or flowers, to which she responds with it depends on what you're trying to communicate, and he wants to communicate "I'm sorry for I screamed like a little girl in front of you, but would you give me a second chance or at least stop hanging up on me", to which Hayley says he will need flowers, chocolates, and most likely a trip, but most importantly he needs to get his confidence back. The Master Spectrometer finishes scanning the spores and determines it was a Vapor Monster, green parasitic fogs that can take over an imamate host and brings it to life when the sun goes down and figures out the vapor monster was the one who was possessing the scarecrow that caused him to ruin his date and leaves the room. Felix asks what was inside the truck and Hayley immediately knows it's the Ickie Dolls.

Back at the Collin's residence, Jake is wrapping the Ickie Doll until Hayley bust in his room and takes the Ickie Doll, and tries to tell him it's possessed by a Vapor Monster, but Jake thinks she's lying and takes it back, only for the doll to become possessed and morph into a monster, which causes it to begin biting Jake's neck, freaking Jake out, with him and Hayley trying to get it off.

Jake bashes the Ickie Doll over and over across the room until he eventually throws it across the room. The Ickie Doll charges at him but Jake uses a trash bin to contain the Ickie Doll. Phoebe comes in the door due to all the noise and notices the Ickie Doll box and notices the bite marks off Jake's neck and thinks Hayley was attacking Jake for the Ickie Doll, Hayley denies this and claims they were making out. Phoebe doesn't believe that and leaves the room and tells Hayley that she has her eyes on her.

Back at Troop HQ, Felix is talking with The Guard Bot (Dressed as Santa) and asks him what it's like traveling at near light speed, but Felix accidentally spits out his hot chocolate and causes The Guard Bot to glitch and mistakes him as a threat, which results in Felix smacking The Guard Bot and tries to go to the phones to avert any suspicions.

Meanwhile, Jake and Hayley head over to the lab and Hayley puts the possessed Ickie Doll in the Lockdown Room and tells Jake to check the Troop Grid to check the adoption registry to find everyone who was sold an Ickie Doll from the truck. Jake comes to Hayley with a printed list of the people who bought the Ickie Dolls, Hayley says the don't know how many dolls were affected and thinks that with luck it will just be 1 or 2. Mr. Stockley comes in goes to the Lockdown Room to try to call Linda again, unbeknownst to him, the possessed Ickie Doll was also in the Lockdown Room, and it jumps at him and bites him on his neck, resulting in more screaming from Mr. Stockley.

At Lakewood High, Mr. Stockley (Now wearing bandages around his neck) approaches Linda to try get her to give him a second chance, saying he could try to make lies and excuses to make himself look less like a fool but chose to try and talk to her after what happened, and Linda agrees, thinking it would take some guts to show his face after his screaming and agrees to spend Christmas together. She asks what happened to him and he tells her he got in a fight with a doll and quickly walks away, much to Linda's confusion.

At night, Jake and Hayley sneak in a house in search for a possessed Ickie Doll and come across one ripping open presents, so Jake grabs it and throws it in a red sack. A kid named Stevie comes across them and questions who they are, Hayley tells him they are trying to help Santa, but Stevie thinks they are just stealing his toys and threatens to tell on them, in response Hayley tells him he is a heartbeat away from the naughty list. The Ickie Doll escapes the sack and charges at Stevie.

Jake grabs the Ickie Doll beats it up, while Hayley has to assure Stevie that everything will be fine. Stevie asks why they are fighting his toys and Hayley claims to be 2 of Santa's elves sent to make sure his toys were just perfect. Stevie's mother (Upstairs) asks what he is doing downstairs, thinking he's trying to open up his presents early, and tells her he is just talking to Santa's elves. She threatens to come downstairs, and he says he will go back to bed, knowing she won't come back. Hayley having enough of this tells Stevie if he doesn't do as his mother says, her and a bunch of other elves will come back and replace all the toys with books, which scares Stevie and runs back to his room. Jake falls on and breaks a table, causing an accordion to make a sound and it calms down the possessed Ickie Doll. Jake quickly puts the Ickie Doll back in the sack and Hayley asks how Jake calmed it down and figures out the accordion calms them down. Hayley asks if Jake can play, but he cannot, but knows someone who can.

Meanwhile at Troop HQ, Felix is singing a Christmas song on how Christmas came to Portugal, then he gets a call on the phone, thinking it's a fan and answers it. Jake tells Felix they have an emergency, and they need him and his accordion. Felix quickly grabs the phone and turns away from the web show and tells Jake he can't leave his show behind, but Jake tells him the Ickie Dolls were possessed and turned vicious and the accordion calms them, Felix hesitates, not wanting to disappoint any fans, but Jake reminds him that there were 100 Ickie Dolls sold on that truck and thinks will get very ugly, and Felix reluctantly agrees.

Now in the middle of the road, Felix uses his accordion (Playing "Oh Holy Night") and Jake uses a microphone to get the Ickie dolls attention, which works and all the Ickie Dolls proceed to follow them. Felix tells Jake and Hayley that his mom always told him playing an accordion will lead to greatness and he can't wait to tell her about it, then Snark her after. Mr. Stockley drives by and ask if the group is ok, and Jake walks towards him, telling him they saved Christmas, but unintentionally gets the microphone disconnected, causing the Ickie Dolls to spiral out of control and wreak havoc on the neighborhood, 1 even getting inside of Mr. Stockley's car, once again causing him to scream and run away. Jake, Hayley, and Felix manage to reconnect the microphone and continue to play the accordion, calming the Ickie Dolls back down. Jake is ready to get the Ickie Dolls back to Troop HQ, and Hayley jokingly wishes Felix didn't have to cancel his "Christmas Spectacular" for nothing, but Felix smirkingly says it's not cancelled.

Back at Troop HQ, the Gleegor was singing "Oh Holy Night" in the other room for the web show with a microphone. The group leads all the Ickie Dolls to the Lockdown room, Hayley also being confused at the Gleegor being able to sing and locks the Ickie Dolls inside the room and puts in a code that destroys the Vapor monster and the Ickie Dolls are turned back to normal. Felix cheers that Christmas is saved but reminds them that they have to rewrap and return the Ickie Dolls to their owners, but Jake tells her the sun will rise up in 2 hours, so responds with "Hope you're a fast wrapper". But before they go Felix tells Jake "You can't go out looking like that" and grabs the Guard Bot.

Now at Christmas Morning at the Collin's residence, Phoebe wakes up Jake (wearing a Santa suit) thanking him for actually getting her the red Ickie Doll, even complementing his Santa suit. Phoebe gives Jake what she thinks is the good gift and Jake opens it, only to see Christmas themed socks, Phoebe accidentally gave the Super GameStation 7 to their dad. In the background video game noises are heard and their dad thanks Pheobe, much to Jake's dismay.

At Linda's house, Mr. Stockley and Linda are ready to start their 2nd date and Linda gives Mr. Stockley a gift. Mr. Stockley opens it and sees that it's an Ickie Doll and screams, again. Immediately Linda exits the car and tells Mr. Stockley not to call her, ending the episode.
